Rosemary MacLennan

Chair

Rosemary MacLennan is an artist, arts organiser, guest lecturer, creative mentor and project manager.

​

Her artistic practice is frequently Socially Engaged and uses intervention, performance, installation and dialogue. She aims to engage people with community, landscape geographical and social, history and ideologies. She gained a Masters with Distinction in Creative Collaboration in 2013.

​

She is Director of NottArt - a community and socially engaged arts organisation which became a Community Interest Company in December 2013 and works with a variety of organisations using art as a vehicle to convey messages. She oversees and delivers the Saturday Art Club at Nottingham Trent University, part of a national initiative supporting 13-16 year olds.

Rosemary is Participation and Learning Manager at BACKLIT Gallery and Studios.  She is the project manager for the Get Skilled for DerwentWISE HLF project programming courses in heritage skills, history and ecology. She also delivers Adult Education and Family Learning Sessions.
